The default pick: cheapest of the two evening safaris, and the only one in this research with enough reviews to trust the rating instead of guessing from a handful.
Evening Safari, Dune Bashing & Live Shows
Costs about 40% more than the option above and rates a shade higher, but on a much smaller sample of reviews. Reasonable if the higher rating and a smaller group matter more to you than the price gap.
Desert Safari With Quad Bike
The same evening format as the two above, plus 30 minutes of self-drive quad biking. Costs more than double the budget option for that one addition.

Skip-the-line entry to levels 124, 125 and 148, with an optional hotel transfer, priced above At the Top's own Gold ticket. The premium buys a guaranteed line skip, not a cheaper ticket.

Dubai Aladdin Tour: Souks, Creek, Old Dubai and Tastings
By far the most-booked version of this walk, with a private abra ride and street food included. The trade-off for the volume of reviews is a bigger, more scripted stop-by-stop format rather than a quiet wander.

Not a ticket, since entry is free anyway: this sells the round-trip transport from Dubai and a guide, which is what most people staying in Dubai without a car actually need.

Costs less than the mosque-only tour above but spends less time at the mosque itself, since it also stops at the Corniche, Etihad Towers, Founders Memorial and a photo stop at the Louvre.

Entry to 2 or 3 of Yas Island's parks, valid 6 days from first entry, with the free Yas Express shuttle from Dubai included. Priced above the park's own multi-park tickets, but it bundles the transport the official site sells separately.
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi Ticket, With or Without Transfer
A single-park ticket with an optional round-trip transfer from a Dubai hotel. Priced above the park's own AED 345 direct rate; only worth booking here for the transfer.

Qatar Gold Dune Safari: Dune Bashing, Camel Ride, Sandboarding, Inland Sea
The Inland Sea is the part no other Gulf city has: a natural border with Saudi Arabia reachable only by dune driving. This is the most-booked way to see it, by a wide margin over any other Doha tour we found.
Doha Night Desert Safari: Dune Bashing, Camel Ride & Stargazing
Skips the Inland Sea, since it runs after dark, but costs less and fits a stopover with an early morning connection better than a half-day trip does.
Doha Quad Bike, Dune Bashing, Camel Ride and Inland Sea Tour
The cheapest Doha desert safari we checked, and the only one with a quad bike bundled in rather than charged as an extra. Meets at National Museum metro station, no hotel pickup.
Doha Safari: Dune Bashing, Camel Ride, Sandboarding, ATV Option
A private-tour listing with an unusually large review count for that category. Quad bike available as a paid option, and the operator states its own insurance excludes camel rides, sandboarding and quad biking.
Desert Safari and Inland Sea (Private Tour)
A genuinely private tour rather than a shared vehicle with a private-tour label. No quad bike offered at any price on this listing.
Which of these five to actually book, including the one where three different-priced listings turn out to be run by the same company, is in Qatar desert safari.
Walking Tour: Discover Souq Waqif
A two-hour guided walk through the souq's lanes, marketed by its own operator as an almost-free tour. The cheapest guided option checked, with the highest rating.
Why Souq Waqif is not actually on the water despite looking close on a map, and the falcon souq, pet souq and theatre most descriptions skip, is in Souq Waqif.

Doha City Tour And Dhow Boat Cruise (Private/Sharing)
Covers Souq Waqif, Lusail Marina, West Bay, Katara and The Pearl in one half-day, with a 30-minute dhow cruise along the Corniche included, the best-reviewed way we found to see it without walking any of it in the heat.
Bahrain

Full-Day Bahrain Guided Tour
Nine hours with a guide, built to cover the sites our own single day did not reach: Bahrain Fort and Manama Souq, which we have not personally verified, plus the Tree of Life, which now has its own researched guide.
Manama: Day from South to North to Discover Bahrain
Three hours shorter and about $75 cheaper than the tour above, and still reaches the Tree of Life and the first oil well. Fewer reviews, so weigh that against the lower price and shorter day.

Half Day Desert Tour
Four hours built specifically around this stretch of desert: the first oil well, the Tree of Life, a photo stop at the Bahrain International Circuit, a camel farm, and the Dilmun burial mounds.
Free entry, free tours, but closed to tourists all day Friday, now confirmed by three independent sources, is in Al Fateh Grand Mosque.
Catch the Essence of Manama - Half Day City Tour
A half-day Manama city tour stopping at the Grand Mosque, Bahrain Fort, the Muharraq old houses, the souq and the World Trade Center, run by Visit Bahrain, the official tourism board's own operator. Skip-the-line included; the mosque stop is not available on Fridays.
